Vitensenteret Innlandet is a science centre full of activities and exhibits for you to try out, wonder over and learn something new from.
Families come here to play, compete, laugh, work together, and ponder over connections and phenomena.
Vitensenter Innlandet offers many varied activities for both young and old: Come into the planetarium and travel out into space, try the many installations in the energy room and experience the human body area. Puzzle away in the maths room and get hands on in the agricultural area.
The centre has over 100 installations for all ages.
Saturday and Sunday 11 – 16
We are open every day during the school holidays (we follow Innlandet’s school season)
On weekdays the centre is only open for schools, kinder gardens, and other pre-booked groups. A visit of this type must be booked in advance.

Tickets can be purchased in reception upon arrival. You can also purchase tickets in advance here. We apologise but the booking site for advance booking is only available in Norwegian.
Children: 120 NOK Access to the whole centre for one day.
Adults: 120 NOK Access to the whole centre for one day.
Family (2 adults, 2 children): 400 NOK Access to the whole centre for up to 4 people in one family. Extra children cost 60 NOK per child.
Season ticket: 475 NOK Visit the centre as often as you like for a whole year!
We accept valid carer´s certificates issued by the council, but you must have the certificate with you when you visit.
There are planetarium shows every day from 12 - 15. Sign up for a show upon arrival.
Vitensenteret Innlandet has good access for wheelchair users or those with extra needs. Handicap parking outside. Entry on the ground floor. Lift to every floor. There is one handicap toilet.
Cafeteria on the ground floor
We have a lovely restaurant area on the ground floor where you can sit down, take a deep breath, and enjoy a cup of coffee. We also have a vending machine full of snacks. You can order yourself a pizza from PIZZABAKEREN (there are instructions in reception). You only pay for the pizza; it is delivered free of charge to Vitensenteret. Delivery is within an hour of ordering.
We are on Brennerigata 1 in Gjøvik.
We have a car park right outside. There is free parking on Saturday and Sunday. Otherwise, it costs 35 NOK per hour Monday to Friday between 8 -16 or 70 NOK per day. If the car park is full or if you prefer a cheaper alternative, then we recommend the car park on the other side of the river (at Gjøvik Gård).
