welcome to vitensenteret innlandet

Vitensenteret Innlandet is a science centre full of activities and exhibits for you to try out, wonder over and learn something new from.

Families come here to play, compete, laugh, work together, and ponder over connections and phenomena.

Vitensenter Innlandet offers many varied activities for both young and old:  Come into the planetarium and travel out into space, try the many installations in the energy room and experience the human body area.  Puzzle away in the maths room and get hands on in the agricultural area.
The centre has over 100 installations for all ages.

We have a car park right outside.  There is free parking on Saturday and Sunday.  Otherwise, it costs 30 NOK per hour Monday to Friday between 8 -15.  If the car park is full or if you prefer a cheaper alternative, then we recommend the car park on the other side of the river (at Gjøvik Gård).

If you are travelling by bus or train, then it is only 700 meters to walk from Gjøvik station.  It is only a few minutes’ walk.  You can find more information about bus times here: https://innlandstrafikk.no/.  You can find information about train times to and from Gjøvik here: https://vy.no/.

If you need a place to stay as part of your trip or if you are looking for information about other activities in the area then have a look at the website for Visit Innlandet.
